Default low idle when warm

can someone give me some advice on a 2000 bug, the problem is the engine started to idle real low , close to 400 rpm. the problem only happens when the engine is warmed up. the car has been to several mechanics and still no answer. any info would be great? thanks.

Check if you have an oraginal distruboter and check the choke.

thanks for all the replys. is it possible that the cruise control part of the intake maybe at fault? ive noticed that it has a vacum vavle before the cruise control, and just to try it took i off the tube. after this i let the car warm up, and it did not drop the idle. from what i have heard this vavle helps keep the idle up when shifting. if this is true i wonder if if i can bypass or fix this problem.

If you found a vacuum leak you have found your problem.
