I put a new H30/31PICT-1 carburetor on my '69 Bug. I cranked on it until the battery went flat, including flooding it with ether. Not a pop! After recharging the battery it started by keeping the starter engaged until the rpm's got the thing running. Now, with the idle screw all the way in (collapsing the spring) it won't idle. Also, how do I set the fuel/air mixture screw? A little help, please!

Concise to the point. The only thing I would use throttle body cleaner instead of carburator cleaner.
