Beetle motor problems HELP!
Hello everyone, I'm new to this place and I'm glad to be here! But to the point:
I have an old beetle engine that just won't run. It ran fine when I got it, then all of a sudden while I was working on installing new lights, it started to run really rough, and then just on one cylindar. I replaced the cap and rotor, all new plugs and wires, rebuilt the carburetor, and went over the entire ignition system, but I can't seem to find the problem. Any ideas?

RE: Beetle motor problems HELP!
They were bad about the intake getting loose at the little 10mm
nuts holding the manifold on the heads, and the copper o ring
gasket will get flat and cause a leak. If it's new enough to have
dual port heads look for a vacuum leak around the manifold area.
