Wish I had found this site when I bought my bug new in 2003. It would have saved me a lot of agrivation with my dealer. Now they tell me I need a new air bag module.998$. I had the work done on the recall last year and not a year later the module is shot.so they say. I have no confidence in work done by my dealer. My glove compartment wouldn't open so in order to fix it they broke it . A new one just the door 188$. Shortly after I purchased the car new in 2003 the convertable top malfunctioned. They didn't believe me. It took calls to Volks main office to get someone to listen to me. It was the hydrolics. I love Volkswagons I just hate the after service they give. And I wish they would do something about the electrical problems the seem to have. I have owned a Passat and still own a Jetta and bug.
