hey everyone!!

I will try to keep this short and sweet!! I have a 76 bug that was my project car, I had a kid and it ended up sitting for quite some time!! My question is...... I have lost the ignition key and I need to unlock the ignition to turn the wheel, any idea's on what I need to do to either get the old ignition out or get a new key???????

so I ended up calling a locksmith and they wanted between $120 and $170 bucks to come to location and make a key!!!! OUCH!!! That seems like a waste when the ignition is going to get replaced anyways. Im going to see how much they want to just come out and try to pick the lock, that might be a better deal!! Anyone ever pick a lock before??
