Can you tow a tear drop trailer? If so, weight limit of trailer.

It depends on the weight of this trailer and does it have brakes.

On my Golf there is a sticker on the passenger door jam that shows the towing weights.

The only sticker I found on the beetle was the weight of the front and rear axle and total vehicle weight.Nothing on towing.

I found a website that has all the vehicle specs (vehhistory.com) enter your vehicles vin number and and it will give all your vehicle spec and more.

There is no free web site that show all info from the VIN number. There are some that you pay for this info.

I was on the web page mentioned above and it is free! Did you wake-up on the wrong side of the bed? Personally I'm not into your negativity so you can go bother someone else. Wow, when i joined this forum I was trying to see if someone could help me find the maximum tow capability on my vw beetle. Thanks for nothing!!
