1998 beetle 2.0 with manual trans
My kid has 1998 vw beetle 2.0 with manual trans. She just brought the car two weeks ago. Now the car is driving really slow and she has to rev the engine at really high rpm's for it to even move. Reverse gear works better than the others, and the car barely moves even then. I don't think it's the clutch as she has to push the clutch in to start the car. The clutch pedal seem fine. and you have to push in the clutch to go though the gears. What could the problem be....thanks.

You need to get your motor scanned (preferably with VAG-COM\VCDS) for any error codes logged in the ecu and post them, that will save a lot of guessing.
