Hello, I know this is my first post here so I figured I'd hit the ground running....I'm looking for a 2000-2001 1.8 liter turbo engine. I really just need a short block as mine threw a rod out the side. So I should be able to use everything else, but will take a long block or complete engine. I'm in SC....Thanks in advance....

 

they are hard to find i have a complete one with turbo but the crank is shot (oil pump went down)
i am holding on to it untill i find a good crank

if interested i have a 2001 jetta wolfsberg edition 1.8t 5 speed. needs waterpump head gasket and about due for a clutch its just sitting in my way so 2500 takes it if you can find a way to get it. i live in ottumwa ia.
