Howdy!
Currently own a 95 Jetta III. She was given to me, absolutely smashed, rotted, barely driveable. But I have DREAMED of owning a VW all my life. So when I drive her, I STILL can feel that incredible vibe, and I always fantasize what it must be like to drive one that is even SLIGHTLY better, which isn't saying much [&o] Even with all her faults, my 20 minute drive to work is an amazing experience. People always tell me that sounds weird, especially when they SEE the Jetta. It's a VW thing, I know this now!
We have two babies(yikes, a year apart!), and I simply cannot afford to buy a car. If anyone has one they've considered donating(or if you know of one in the NYC area for $500 or less), I'd gladly lavish that car with plenty of TLC, it would enrich my life immensely.
