Condition:
This car is in outstanding condition and has a clear title, no accidents, no bodywork. As an early mark IV, this GTI it was actually built in Germany.
The car was under an extended warranty until 2007, with all maintenance work done at VW dealerships. Since 2007 all maintenance work has been done by a VW specialist with all OEM parts and only synthetic oil (http://www.foreigncarwerks.com). I have ALL maintenance records from 2000 until the last oil change and inspection in April 2010. The car comes with two key fobs and a spare key, complete owner's manuals, rubber floor mats and mud flaps, spare tire and tools, a roadside warning triangle and first aid kit, all OEM.
Most importantly, the only two modifications ever performed on this car are the professional tinting of the rear windows and the attachment of an AUX cable to the radio.
