Exterior:
The outside body of this VW Jetta is in Good condition. The black paint is shiny and glossy! The entire exterior is finished off in solid, sleek black. All Panels, Door Handles, and Trim are finished in Black. The only touches of Silver are the front and rear VW symbols. The overall consistency of color really adds to the appeal of this car. You will find all the side panel moldings to be on this car.
This VW is riding on a set of almost new Michelin tires. The tires are in great, almost new, condition and just passed VA State Safety Inspection.
Overall, the Exterior Condition of this Jetta is in Very Good Condition. I do not see any indications of body work. For a vehicle of this age and mileage it looks really good. The only thing I can mention on this car is that there are a few small scratches on the bumper of this Jetta. Again, not highly noticeable but wanted to mention it. You may find a little door ding or two, but I did not find anything else noteworthy or obvious or atypical for the year and miles. This sedan just looks great!
Interior:
Inside this Jetta you will find to be in Great Condition. The Interior is solid black with touches of gray on the upholstery and looks great! All interior trim pieces, dash, and the like are all black. The only area of this slick interior that is not solid black are the seats and touches of trim. The seats upholestry is gray sport cloth. The seats have insert panels in a patterned sport cloth. The combination of seat styling looks great! The carpets and floor mats are also black and in very good condition. You will not find any rips, tears, holes or burns inside this Cabrio.
Inside this Jetta, you will find lots of surprises and upgrades. There are Power Windows, with 1 Touch Power! There are also power door locks and a remote keyless entry fob. With this remote entry you can lock, unlock and even pop the trunk from afar. There is Cruise Control, we tested and it works perfectly. There is AC that blows cold and the air vents, for both heat and cold, are directionaly and air flow adjustable. The exterior side view mirrors are also power adjustable from the driver's door.
The driver side door has controls for all of the power windows (with child lock safety feature) and the door locks. You can also adjust the power mirrors here. The gas door and trunk remote release buttons are here on the bottom next to the large cubby for storage. These remote release buttons can be locked. The notice the door handle has some scratching on it, just from wear not a big deal. You also get chrome door handles which look really sharp against the black and gray.
The center dash houses the audio system and the climate control. There are pull out cupholders and a cubby hole for storage.
The sound system in this Jetta is great! You will find an In Dash Cassette player and AM FM Tuner. There is a 6 disc CD Changer located in the trunk. The speakers all sound great, they are crisp and clear.
The glove box houses the owner's manual. This VW comes with 2 sets of keys, this is important because they can be expensive!!
Under the Hood:
This VW Jetta GLS VR6 Cylinder gets 19-28 Miles Per Gallon. The 2.8 Litre V6 engine generates 174-horsepower at 5800 RPM and 181 pounds of torque at 3200 RPM's. The Automatic transmission allows for high MPG in the city and on the highway. VA State Safety Inspected valid thru 5/10! Did I mention that we just did the timing belt!
