Just another new person hereno biggie. Right now I don't have a VW but I'm looking on ebay to find me another one I've had three before. I have a question that maybe one of you can help me with.

I'm looking to buy another Scirocco around an 85' or so the engine doesnt matter as long as it runs well.
My question is as follows what should I look for as far has problems go in these cars? I had a Scirocco a while back when they still made then & it was new, so I'm not sure what to look for. Any problem with these cars rusting in one area? Anything you all could help me with I'd be very greatful for!
