Hi, the car starts inconsistently, mostly just swings. When it starts, if I toggle the wipers and/or flickers, the car cuts out immediately. I removed the faulty alarm and immobilizer, and also changed the spark plugs, battery, coil and fuel pump. Any suggestions? I suspect it might be due to bad wiring

There are a few Fox models but you mention changing the spark plugs so it must be a 1.2 or 1.4.

Apart from mechanical failure broken cambelt there are only two reasons why a petrol engine won't start.

1. Insufficient spark to ignite the fuel.

2. Insufficient fuel to be ignited.

You mention removing faulty alarm and immobilizer so it sounds like you have faulty electrics.

I don't recall the Fox being made in 1991, 2005>?
