Default Volkswagen Scirocco looses unexpectedly control

Last week I tested the brand new Volkswagen Scirocco 1.4 TSI. It has like the new Alfa Romeo MiTo also a electronic differential so I expected it to be a real sportive car with sportive abilities. To my big surprise the Scirocco lost control under circumstances when I wasn't even pushing it near the edge. With the Alfa Romeo MiTo I could do things which I thought were absolutely impossible with a frontwheel driven car. In my opinion the Alfa Romeo MiTo is even better then some all-wheel-driven cars. Anyway back to the Scirocco, during the testweek the Scirocco was sliding away under circumstances in which I was driving only 50% of the possibilities of the MiTo (which also has an electronic diffenrential). One time the Scirocco was even sliding away over 4 wheels in a 180 degree curve, and just because I wasn't driving not so fast the car stayed on the road. I completely lost control of the car and I couldn't do anything. It was the first time in my life as a testdriver (I also test motorbikes already for 10 years now, and cars for 5 years) that something like this happened to me. I was totally astonished about this and just could not believe that a car that has been undergoing thorough testing is acting as bad as this. It seems to me that Volkswagen doesn't has the software for the electronic differential 100% right. Me and another testdriver had exactly the same experiences with the VW Scirocco and we both have driven the Alfa Romeo MiTo 1.4 Turbo and the 1.6 JTDm and were totally amazed about the MiTo. I really don't understand how a big factory like Volkswagen can mistake like this. Remind, the importer has tested all the electronics like ESP, ASR etc. and there was nothing wrong with our testcar.
