Default Trouble with my jetta.

My jetta has a problem dying. After it warms up good or if I push it a little bit it acts like it wants to die. Throttle response gets terrible and it limps. The ASR light comes on and it barely runs. I've read that it could be the MAF or Throttle body. I have plans to tune it up payday (coils, plugs, and fuel filter).
Any one else have a suggestion on what to do? Or something else to consider?

Try getting a bottle of that throttle body cleaner and clean both maf and TB. It wouldn't hurt to do a tune up.
