Beware of the 2022 option of VW Car-Net Safe and Secure 3 year subscription. First off, acceptance requires you to allow your personal information to be used. If you don't accept this, the $269.00 option charge is an over-charge and should be refunded. You can call Car-Net at 833-648-2735 and request cancellation and refund. I recently purchased a 2022 Atlas Cross Sport and was charged for the option.

Another charge I was hit on the sticker was Auto Dimming Rearview Mirror which includes a 4 year subscription of Home Link. Requires a compatible device and acceptance of terms. So after 4 years, I will have to pay to renew my subscription in order for my auto dimming mirror to function? Such crap.. VW should be refunding some of that charge. I have absolutely no use for Home Link.
