So we are fixing up a 74 bug, marina blue original paint. Paint is about 90% present, most damage being on the front passenger side fender (surface rust). I was considering repainting it black, but on further consideration, since the interior has blue paint that is 100%, plus 100% in many other areas, would it be best to just touch up the current paint to keep it as original as possbile? Or would repainting it gloss black be sacrilege...

 

I think black is just a good choice. It still matches with the blue, plus black is a classic color and it looks really nice.Balence is good, in my opinion
