Default 6.0 Powerstroke EGR delete discussion and reliability concerns

Hey everyone,

I’m looking for advice from experienced diesel techs and owners. I’ve been researching reliability upgrades for my Ford truck and keep running into conflicting opinions.

My main goal is improving longevity, reducing soot buildup, and keeping temps under control while still maintaining decent drivability and fuel economy overall 6.0 Powerstroke EGR delete and I’d like to know what real-world experiences people have had with it.

Does it actually improve reliability long term, or just create other issues with tuning, check engine lights, and emissions compliance?

Is it worth doing on a mostly stock daily driven truck?
