I have a new'ish VW Tig. Bought 2 ¼ yrs ago. About 2 mos. ago I noticed some bad scratching to the windscreen in front of the driver. This was fixed by an accredited windscreen repair firm as directed by the local VW dealer and the Ins. Co.

Due to lockdown since the repair the car has hardly been driven. But the screen is now showing scratches. A design fault ? Too much pressure from the blade ? Any other Tig. owner with the same problem ? I don't want to be paying £50 a pop several times each yr. to have the screen replaced !!
