Good all,I am having a vw golf 4 1.8t 2002 tiptronic.It shifts hard from gears 1st,2nd & 3rd and than down from 3rd, 2nd & 1st. Did do a reset with switching ignition on, press accelerate pedal down for 20sec and start engine but still does the same. Does anyone have advice for me on what to check before getting it to a mechanic that will charge an arm & a leg.?
