hi all im new to this site and new to vw's. i have just bought a 2001 v5 and loving every minute of it. i am usually a bmw driver but am liking the change. problem i have got is thatim struggling to get a decent price insurance. im only 19 and am paying 250 quid a month! any1 in the same situation or any1 know any good insurers?? plus one other thing, when reversing, when braking it makes a loud bellowing/sqweekin sound- any idea as to wot that is? cheers deano

 

Welcome! The squeaking sound when in reverse may either be the Transmission or just a stuck Parking Brake. Just a guess so..
