Hi all,

I'm the proud owner of a 1985 VW Golf Diesel. I've put over 350,000 miles on it since I bought it new. Over 100,000 miles on SVO!

Saddly It's time to retire the old engine so I'm shopping for a new engine.

Any suggestions on who might sell a new Diesel engine for an 85 Golf would be greatly appreciated.

i think that finding a 1985 diesel engine that is basically plug and play is going to be hard...do you have the ability to rebuild/know a good shop?
