Hopefully I won't get flamed for joining.. lol. My name is Jill and I have a 2005 Subaru STI. Yes I know I don't have a Volkswagen.. my co worker has a really nice one and told me to join that you guys were really nice. I am not sure if this is the exact forum he was speaking of or not. I don't know a hell of a lot about Volkswagens.. but curious to learn!

Welcome! No good on the subaru, get yourself a nice GTI or something, then you smoke all those hondas on the road and you say a girl beat 'em..lol.

 

lol I already beat all the Hondas on the road. It is entirely too easy. And the double takes I get when they realise I am a girl is quite humerous. haha I am runnin 300WHP its easy

I am not an stupid driver.. if someone is looking at me I will give the nod or the duece whether they drive a Subie or not. Hell I just put on a meet last week and I was the only Subaru in a group of evo's.. that has to say a little something lol. Yes, quite a fewdrivers are stupid, I will give you that. But I am a car enthusiast.. not just a Subaru person. I am interested in learning more about every performance car.

And yes as everyone I like my HP, but just because I have an STI doesn't mean I strictly mean business... Its a fun safe car and family friendly which is a plus. My bf has a daughter so I feel comfortable putting her in the back seat. I hope you don't think badly of me trying to learn more about other cars..

What color is your STI and what all do you have done to it??
my dad has a silver 05 sti with bronze wheels and some minor motor work.
enough to make it run low 11's and plus he has a cobb tune and he is constantly working with it to make it run better.

 

lol yea haveI would take an access port or just opensource tune it over Cobb.. thanks for the compliment I am opensourced tuned stage 2 running full catless with a Helix V3 DP and Espiler JGT500 CB exhaust. I have some prodrive mudflaps and I am about to install eclipse touchscreen navigation. Oh and she is Obsidian Black Pearl.

Nothing too much yet moved back out so modding, rent, car payment and insurance is a difficult mix lol.
