Hello all my name is Gary. I am from southern ohio. I have always wanted a VW. Although I have had a ridiculous amount of cars I have never had one. I was talking to another guy on my rugby team and he had one for sale. I had to sell a couple motorcycles to make room ,but 300 bucks for an 86 cabriolet I had to do it. This thing is rust free which is almost impossible for an ohio car. Has a new top and is already under a coat of primer. However it runs like crap. and the interior is pretty rough. So in the coming weeks I will probably be turning to you all for help on both those problems. Also the new top doesn't have the window cut in. but I still love it. after I got it home and scrubbed off the tree gunk.
