it might be polite to say hey before launching into the questions i have. So Hello!

I just bought a 2000 golf, automatic --my first time without a stick-- with 157k. Sounds steep, but it got a clean check. The body looks great too, which can't be said for most of the golfs i looked at in the same price point! It's really cute, which is of course what's important, right?

So, that's the story. I will list my questions about the problems I'm having after a search for threads which might already discuss it.
