Default New guy with a buggy

Hey guys,

I'm from another forum for srt8 jeeps , so I know how these forums work. So here's my piece.

I am a canadian heavy duty mechanic (diesel mechanic for the yankees on here), and I have a passion for anything with an engine. Obsession puts it mildly. I managed to grab a vw buggy from a buddy, and another buddy kinda forced me to sell it to him (I was storing it at his house, told me I couldn't keep it there anymore, and offered to buy it) now he says it doesn't run, and im positive it's due to him thinking he is a mechanic and trying "restore" it. So as of now I'm here to get some info on parts, mods, and another stuff that guys do with them, and what better to do than sign up to a forum !!

Thanks guys

-j

Your car specs in your signature isn't much use on a VW forum, post the spec of your VW bug?
