Heyy I'm Becca I drive a '98 jetta , white. and unfortunately its automatic. The tranny started going at 228kms, I just got up to 234567kms yesterday though. Was looking in to switching it to stick but my insurance bill came in and I pay yearly, so all the money I have saved up to put into my car is now going to insurance
I also couldn't afford the awesome rims I was about to buy either.
When I bought her, in December 2011, she didn't haveany rust on her but now its starting to come through the paint in some spots. One spot is really bad around the rear driver side door handle and the paint is actualy chipping off in big chunks and it looks terrible. So I'm gunna try and work on that tn after work. But me being just a girl who knows next to nothing about body work, and well cars in general, this might not work out so well but I gotta start somewhere![Smile](https://volkswagenforum.com/forum/images/smilies/smile.gif)
I'll post pics on my progress maybe if anyone comments on this thread.
*Hint, Hint- tips on removing surface rust would be helpful
