Introducing myself in the USofA
Hey Fellow VW fanatics,
allow me to introduce myself. You all see me with the nickname RoyRoyz, Roy is the name in daily life. I'm a 25 year old car fanatic from the Netherlands (that's the reason for some spelling errors) and very interested in the USA style VW's. In my history I've been driving in a lot of cars, from ford, toyota, lancia to renaults and VW's. My first Veedub was the MKII Scirocco years ago. Recently I bought a VW Golf MKII GL 1985, but because It was a petrol car, his fuel consumation was to high for the Dutch fuel costs, so I trade him in for a Golf MKII 1600 turbocharged diesel. Butt before you get bored, here are some pictures....

My Scirocco

And with some other wheels

My Golf GL

My turbocharged diesel

Hope you like it, and if you want to would like some Dutch inspiration;

Nice man. I love the cars. That scirocco is so sick. My brother had a MK1 GTi back in the day, I remember that thing just felt like a street legal go kart and have heard how those sciroccos feel.
Hey Roy! Welcome to the VW community! It’s awesome that you’ve had such a wide experience with different cars, especially your history with VW. The switch to a Golf MKII 1600 turbo diesel sounds like a smart move considering fuel costs. By the way, if you’re interested in expanding your passion for cars, you might enjoy writing about them too—there are plenty of argumentative essay topics https://essaypro.com/blog/argumentative-essay around automotive trends, fuel efficiency, or even comparing car styles like USA vs. European VW models. Looking forward to seeing the pictures and hearing more about your rides!
