My name is Eddie. I just bought my first VW in 40 years. The one before this was a 1964 Beetle, which I owned in about 1971. I later bought a '69 VW van, which I also really liked. The current VW I own is an '02 Passat, V6 automatic which I bought used with 138,000 miles. It's for my daughter to drive until we find a newer one for her.

I'm glad to find this forum and I appreciate all the info available here. Looking forward to talking with fellow VW owners who do some of their own wrenching.
