Hi,
I bought a 1973 vw bug from my neighbor and it needs ALOT of work. It has rush spots straight through the body in seven spots. It has literally been rotting on his driveway for nearly 15 years and will need alot of work. I have absolutely no knowledge in restoring or working on cars at all. So I hope I will not be a bother to any of the members if I ask any or too many questions about working on this project.

I am seventeen years old and I thought it would be a nice project to start before I go to college. My dad was thinking I should just stop the rust from spreading, work on the interior and engine, drive it for a while then sell it.
