I am new to this forum, but have been a VW owner almost my entire driving life... 1967 Baja Bug, 1977 Cabriolet, 1982 Rabbit, 1992 Passat, 2002 Beetle Turbo S. I am hoping to be VW-less for a while (see my post for turbo S for sale), but unlike the only other VW-less period in my life when I was forced to drive a $hit-brown datsun 610 as penance for total-ing my baja-bug- I will be consoling myself with a bmw 335i. If it ever comes to the States- the new VW R could get me back on the straight and narrow.
