Hello everyone,

I'm new to the forum here. My name is Robert Morris. I currently live in Cheyenne, WY in the USA, but am possibly moving to Berlin, DE. I can't wait to get away from here too! I've been hoping for this move for 2 years now. I am born of 100% German blood, so I feel I belong there... not to mention after my 8 years of being a "backyard" mechanic, I've come to hate all American automobiles... not to mention Japanese, Korean, etc... the only good vehicles I've ever driven or had the great pleasure to work on are those of the German engineering... Volkswagen, Mercedes Benz, BMW (Bavarian Motor Works) Audi, etc.

I have become a new-found lover for the Volkswagen... particularly the Volkswagen Bora. I saw my first Bora here in Cheyenne... the owner lives at the end of my block. The only one in town... and possibly the country! I plan on, until I move to Deutschland, buying a Jetta... preferably a Mk3.

Aside from all of that, I am a Professional Truck Driver... I used to drive a 2004 Kenworth W900L, but learned that the Mercedes Benz Actross is much more safety oriented... featuring "Teligent Lane Control", "Teligent Proximity Control", "Teligent Stability Control", etc... by far the safest big truck on the road!

1980 Chevy Custom C20: 350, 400Turbo, Cobra CB, Toolbox, Headache, 4x4

Hopefully I can add a 1997-2000 Bora and a 2006 Mercedes Benz CL65 Kompressor to that list.

Aside from cars and stuff... I'm an artist, former IT Manager (Network Systems Administrator), Medical Billing Manager and Front Office Clerk, Mechanic, U.S. Marine, Ranch Hand, Rodeo Bare-Back Bronc Rider... but I find driving a truck the MOST fun of all! I love it!
