Hello there! I dug around the interwebs and found this forum...I belong to a Jeep club or two as well as my main transportation rig is my 1990 Cherokee.

A few weeks ago (four days before my wedding) I came across a craigslist ad for a 1985 VW cabriolet...$450. I called and told them if it would start, I would buy it...so here I am, the proud owner of a little white cabriolet with a host of issues that will take me the better part of this summer to diagnose and fix, but it looks fairly good and my dog thinks it is the best present ever...a ride with no roof!

I will go into the car (we are calling her Betty White at the moment) problems later in another thread. Lets just say that I am glad to have a VW again. I had a 1990 Fox and loved it, and was the proud owner of a 69 Beetle that had been Bajad out...until it was stolen.
