Hello all,

I am a new VW owner, by proxy...yeah, my girlfriend got herself a 1970 Beetle. We are both excited to have and drive it, but guess who gets to work on it :^)

Personally, I have loved beetles since I almost had one as my first car...it was promised to me when my grandmother got a new one, but I was way too young to have it. It didn't stop me from convincing my dad to get me VW Trends magazine, back in the late 80's/early 90's...I still have some of them, somewhere. I never got that car, but I have had the joy of driving others...now I have access to this one.

One of the reasons I joined this forum is because we are having issues with it. Catch me in the other topics!
