Hi this is the second vw I have owned the first was a 1987 fox which I put 450000 ks on and then sold it certified and now a few years later I just bought a vw golf 2001 in mint shape and I just love it.Just one question when they built it why did they put a coffee cup holder above the radio.You cant control the radio if its in use.Thats the only beef I have

i have seen several vehicles that put the cup holder there, and in every case, its in the way of the radio..also, should you spill, it gets onto your radio!

 

I recommend you phone up VW and give them ear full, cause that's just dumb lol
But dont' feel so bad, I have a 92' that didn't come with a cup holder!
