I have 3 VWs
2003 Golf GLS TDI Manual 5 Speed
2003 Jetta GL 2L Manual 5 Speed
2004 Jetta GLS Wagon 2L Automatic 4 Speed

I am proud to have a VW fleet, but with the cars aging, I am concerned about trouble spots like the 2004 A$ series automatic transmissions. Some say the FDF (especially comments for Beetles...don't know why) is prone to premature failure. The Jetta wagon has 76K on it. Anyone have experience with problems.

I'm not aware of any failures on FDF does Google shows anything?
