Default Fahrenheit to celcius?

Hi all, does anyone know if it's possible to toggle the temperature reading from fahrenheit to celcius?
I have a 2012 Jetta...thanks!

On UK models there is an MFD setting to change the temperature display read the handbook.

Thanks, I have a US model and nowhere in the manual does it indicate the option of changing the temp units. I have spoken to a local VW dealer however and apparently it can be done but I was told they need to get some sort of security code from head office. Still awaiting their call back!

Well all I can say is what is on my model. This may depend on which MFD you have fitted Highline, Midline or Lowline. Mine is Highline so I have more settings.

Well if its Highline the same as mine you should be able to change the temperature display to either fahrenheit or celcius unless this is only a UK option.

So tell me how you do it then?
Nowhere in the manual do I see instructions...

Well if you read the link I posted is says.

Under Units:

4. "Units" changes fuel consumption units (below screen) or switches Celsius and Fahrenheit.

That isn't my MFD those are pictures from a US site because we don't have the ATA Confirm setting in the UK. Thats also for up to 2011 models whether they have changed options on your 2012 who knows.

I've just had a look at mine seeing as it outside at the moment. My Units shows Temperature which you can change to F or C and F and what units are shown in the fuel consumption.

I'm just trying to help you out as much as I can. Its still under warranty take it back to the dealer and say you want it changing, it up to them to get the security code thats needed.
