Hi Guys At the moment I am thinking of buying a 1998 vw passat I know this is a vw forum which most of you love your vehicles but I was hoping for some unbiased truth. The car itself looks fantastic it has done 149,000 km and has leather trim and seats etc. Has any had any good or bad experiences regarding this year of vehicle.

Ya my paps had one same year and all brand new in 98 and 2 weeks in his transmission died out completly!
