Hi everyone, new to the site. I have this '89 Golf, 2 door body style, with 170k miles on original motor. In process of doing some body restoration, so I'm looking for the rear panel that's below the bumper, I don't know what to call it. The one that goes from rear 1/4 - panel left to right, and it's got the cut out for tail pipe. Any ideas where I can find this, I tried a few sites w/out luck.

Your best bet is to go to a scrapyard, salvage, wreckers...whatever ya wanna call it, in your area. I'm sure you could find one easy, just take it off a car and have it painted if needed.
