I hope someone has a solution to my weird problem.

I have a 04 jetta 2.0 and yesterday when i started driving my car (i also had the a/c on) as soon as i stepped on the gas pedal to try to go more than 20mph my car wouldn't accerate. I'm able to press the gas pedal all the way down but no luck so i decided to pull to the side of the road. Then i decided to turn off my a/c and i started driving again all of a sudden my car was driving normal again and i am able to accerate more than 20mph. Another thing i noticed with my car when i used the wipers on fast speed it would move very very slow.

What could it be???

I can't post a video because my car is running normal now. I can use the a/c with no problems. 2 people i spoke to about the problem i had mention that it could of been the heat that caused those problems.

My car started acting up again this morning. This time when I was driving (with the a/c off) the speedometer started decreasing after 40mph and I kept trying to press on the gas but it just kept dropping, the battery light appeared twice only for a few seconds. I pulled onto the curb and turned off my car. I then tried turning it on again but absolutely no sound came out from the engine. The dash lights flicked every time I turned the ignition switch but that’s all that would happen. While waiting for the tow trunk my hazard lights started blinking really slowly and the time in my car reset to 12:00 on its own. I just replaced the battery on Thursday and I had already replaced the battery 2 months prior.

Does anybody have any idea what can be causing these problems?
