2001 Golf. What to do?
Hey guys, I don't know much about cars, so I was wondering if you didn't mind giving me advice/ helping me out. First off I just bought a 2001, 2 door, silver, automatic Golf with 108,000 miles on it. The interior is in perfect condition, and the exterior isn't bad either. I'm getting around 2,000 dollars in a couple months, and I want to put it into my car. I'm planning on getting new tail lights, Rims, window tint, and getting a stereo system in it. But as far as performance parts go, I have no idea what to get or what I should get. I wouldn't mind it being a little faster, maybe sound better, and if possible better gas milage, and more HP. Any idea's on what I should do, feel free to help! Remember I only have $2000 to spend.

First off if you're rookie, I wouldn't suggest doing much to your Golf unless you have someone with better knowledge to help you. Everything about the car is precise and one screw up will mess your car up.
If its HP your wanting focus on things like exhaust, a cam, a dump, maybe even throw a better performance chip on there, lite rocker arms, bigger intercooler, etc. Its all about making your car breath better and run cooler.
