1978 Beetle Right Headlight Dim

1978 Beetle Right Headlight Dim
My cabriolet's right headlight is dimmer than my left for both low and high beams. I checked the fuses, pulled the headlight and checked the connector, and even swapped headlights (right side stayed dim). I also bought "How to Keep Your VW Alive", but the section on headlights doesn't cover this issue. Ay troubleshooting advice would be appreciated. Thanks....

Its nice to see you made an intro on your own.
If its dim that is a reduced voltage or resistance, check all wiring/connectors with a multimeter.
