Hi, I recently bought a mk3 Golf but the handle of the glove compartment was snapped off. I have attempted to open the glove box with a screwdriver and what not but haven't attempted that much in case there I do further damage to the glove box. Could anyone please help me with a means to safely remove the lock mechanism and what one to order to put in.

I live locally to a VW centre (WV Gwent) and I should be able to order from there. Any help is greatly appreciated, Thanks!
