EBAY always has headers. www.performance-cafe.com has OBX headers for like $350 I think. Only website I've ever seen headers for 4th gen Jetta VR6. I'm in the same boat as you, all parts are usually for 1.8t......sux!

so are headers a pain in a$$ to install on Jetta? i know installing should be ok but just the amount of room and having to custom fit anything is my only worry

Yea.....the fitment isn't too bad considering the big hole against the firewall....my exhaust LITERALLY took me 15 min to put on, if that and that counts changing O2 sensors. I so far..**knock on wood** haven't run into anything on this car that I couldn't fix or had a hard time accomplishing. I'm an aircraft mechanic so I know about changing parts using only the tips of your fingers, this car is nothing...lol. Seriously, I haven't done the header yet but it's next...I post all mods I do and how it went, so I'll let ya know how the actual install goes, but I ben back there and there's plenty of room.

I know that you guys are talking about the VR6.

BUT is it true that putting headers on a 4 cylinder
will cause it to LOOSE HP.

I have a GLS 2.0 with a neuspeed catback exhaust,
P-Flow cold air intake, neuspeed engine management
chip and would like to install a header but I can't afford
to loose any HP.

Does DC Headers makes headers for VW's? I thought they were
more of in the import (Honda,Acura) side.
