Weird Keyless Entry
Hi, new to the forum and decided to join because I own a VW now.
I just picked up an 07 GTI over the wknd and have noticed some weird keyless entry issues.
I hit the unlock button on the remote and: I see the lights flash; I HEAR the doors unlock; and, when I go to open the driver's side door it doesn't open. I have to "double pull" on the door handle to get the door open. Have I been driving a Mazda too long? Is this some sort of VW secret handshake?
I was under the impression VW keyless entry was like any other: you hit the button and open the door, the end. Does this sound like Ihave faulty keyless entry?
Any thoughts are appreciated, thanks in advance.

happened to me too. i have a 2004 jetta, it only happened to mine when it was really cold out. the wife brought it to the dealer and they said it needed an adjustment for the handle. sounds kinda sketcky to me though. happened a couple times after as well.
