My son just purchased a 2003 VW GTI 1.8. It's about 200 miles from the 80K warranty expiration. VW does not offer extended warranties on VW's over 50K they told me but they did suggest contacting Warranty Direct. The quote from Warranty Direct for their Power Shield protection sounds very good for the price. Has any one had any experience with this or suggestions?
