A lot of VW forums have a thread showing users who have VAG-COM/VCDS I may as well start a new thread in here.

Cable: Genuine VCDS USB-HEX-CAN.
Software: VCDS v12.12.0, VCDS Beta 14.7.2
Location: Stoke on Trent, England
Experience: I'm not an expert I've had VCDS 3.5 years. I scanned other users vehicle and made a few tweaks on my own.

World Vag-Com Locator Map is a bit vague.

Experience: I'm not an expert I've used or owned VCDS for 8 years. I scanned other users vehicle and made a few tweaks on my own. I'm perfectly comfortable following any recipe out there.
