i just bought an 01 jetta 1.8t with a chip downpipe and intake already installed it has a boost gauge and on my way home from pickin the car up i noticed that it was boosting around 15 psi. the trip was around 50 miles and for some reason the car didnt seem to pull as hard towards the end of the trip does anyone know a reason for this???

 

I have a 2004 Jetta wagon and had a problem with my Turbo. They found a bad wire harness. It is right behind the turbo on the right side. The wires were being pulled and had a short, causing the Turbo to kick on and off. See if your dealer will check this? Mine was under warrenty and was FREE! NO problems what so ever again!
