Please take me to school. I had a 2000 tdi with the non-monsoon and it sounded better than the 2001 GLS with monsoon I have now! I don't know much about them and the more I read I admit the more confused I get. I thought this was a premium system over the base.

Could it be worn out? Possibly a bad internal amp? It has very little base. and sounds squeeky.

I was not kind to my previous one and it sounded better than this and it was older. Are these units problematic?

What is some advice? I want the stock one because I like a factory look. Is there a seperate amp that could be bad? Are the speakers junk?

Any info would be great
