To all of those who post with mechanical problems and what not, if you wouldn't mind terribly, once you find a solution for your mechanical problem (if not through this forum) please post what fixed it. Tell us what steps you took to solve that problem and what was the initial cause of the problem. This way we can all learn and easily address future problems with our VW's.
